This program operates year round, with the option to register month to month at $40 a month. Footworx is affiliated with U.S. Youth Futsal which requires an annual membership fee of $13.50. U.S. Youth Futsal and Footworx are committed to protecting the youth. All coaches have been carefully screened by a comprehensive background check.
At the earliest age, the 3-year old players are engaged in a safe and fun parent-child group that engages the children's creativity and imagination while learning the fundamentals of the game and developing their gross motor skills. Young children love to use their imagination as they follow along during stories and role playing adventures that captivate their imaginations while building their foundation skills.
By the age of 4, children are often ready to participate independently, but we encourage parents to participate if they desire. Sessions are dynamic and structured to facilitate growth of not only their soccer skills, but their social engagement as well. Children will learn positive character traits of sportsmanship such as following the rules, being a team player, and staying positive to facilitate the appreciation of teamwork.
While development of the individual player is of utmost importance, the concept of team is introduced to players at the age of 5. Children at this age are introduced to activities that are structured. In addition, players develop progressive skill acquisition that is reinforced with fun and engaging small-sided games that will strengthen their newly acquired skills.
Our 6 year-old program prepares players to enter into a formal team environment at a desired competitive level. Kids typically discover that their progressive skill acquisition strengthens their individual skill set while improving the function of the team as a whole. Small-sided games reinforce the children's skill acquisition and progress their understanding of cooperating as a team to achieve a desired outcome.
